Production / Bindery Technician
LAD Custom Publishing employs several production and bindery techs seasonally during our Summer (July/Aug) and Winter (Dec/Jan) Rush periods. These positions involve using various printing equipment such as color and black & white digital presses.

Assistant Account Manager
We are seeking a highly organized Assistant Account Manager to support our Account Managers and ensure smooth, accurate execution of daily client and production workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Manager Support — Assist with daily tasks across multiple university accounts
- Order Processing — Enter, track, and update orders through internal systems
- Client Communication — Provide timely, professional responses to faculty, campus stores, and administrators
- Data Accuracy — Maintain precise customer records, spreadsheets, and documentation
- Production Coordination — Work with print, digital, and prepress teams to meet delivery timelines
- Quality Control — Review master files for completeness and accuracy
- Seasonal Workflow Support — Adapt to higher‑volume periods aligned with academic terms
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Skilled with spreadsheets, data entry, and digital tools
- Professional, customer‑service mindset
- Experience in publishing, education, or administrative support is helpful but not required
Job Type / Schedule:
- Full-time
- Expected Hours: 40 hrs per week
- 8 hour day shift, with some overtime as needed.
- Some weekends during busy seasons may be required.
In-Person:
- Please note this job is “in-person” so the ability to commute to our Buford, GA 30518 office is required.

OPEN POSITION
Production/Bindery Technician
LAD Custom Publishing employs several production and bindery techs seasonally during our Summer (July/Aug) and Winter (Dec/Jan) Rush periods. These positions involve using various printing equipment such as color and black & white digital presses. In the bindery, we assemble, punch, drill, coil, shrink-wrap, pack and ship the books.
While this position is often seasonal, LAD prefers to employ techs who will develop and grow with the company and return for subsequent seasons, and sometimes even transition into year-round roles. This position requires significant attention to detail, as our quality standards are extremely high.
LAD is a family business, and enjoys an extremely positive work environment. We seek long-term matches for our company, and actively look for those who are friendly, personable, and relatable to interact with our customers and teammates. Pay rates are determined based on skill and experience, and are relative to rates paid in the local Gainesville/Lawrenceville markets, and based on the most current market research.
